France

You’re Invited

We would love your presence in the South of France. . .

We are getting married! And because you are our absolute favorite people, we cannot imagine doing this without you. We are hosting you at the Château de Vaucouleurs in Puget-sur-Argens on June 12, 2027, and we would be very sad if you weren't there. Please come join us in the Côte d'Azur for a weekend packed with beautiful views, generous wine pours, incredible carbs, and just enough sunshine to make us all forget about real life for a few days. Clear your calendar, we want you there to celebrate with us!

Backstory

From Hinge. . . to here. . .

Our story began in London 2020, courtesy of Hinge and a lot of free time during the lockdown. We spent our early days trading ridiculously long messages back and forth. Even though typing out our life stories on a tiny screen got tedious, the connection was too good to ignore.

We finally met in person on September 11th. Yes, we chose a date synonymous with historical disaster to begin our romance, which seemed fitting given the state of the world in 2020. Predictably, our chemistry flourished offline, the rest is history, and now we’re throwing a big party in France, and we absolutely want to celebrate with you.

The Weekend

The Party & The Recovery

Ceremony

The Main Event

The sole reason you're flying out here!

Expect spontaneous displays of affection, some light speeches, and the exchange of jewelry. Then, we pivot for an elite dinner, questionable dance moves, and a late-night party that will test the limits of our venue's sound system.

*An open mind on the dance floor is encouraged.

Brunch

The Aftermath

Our weekend concludes with a final gathering by the pool.

Return for a leisurely afternoon of recovery, hydration, and pretending we aren't completely exhausted. Attendance is optional, but the carbs are mandatory.

*Dark sunglasses are highly recommended.

The Ceremony

Our Wedding Day

5:30 PM

Guest Arrival

Arrive at the Chateau and linger by the pool from 5:30 PM. Grab a preliminary drink, establish contact with your party allies or partner-in-wine, and mentally prepare yourselves for the upcoming event.

6:00 PM

Ceremony

No spoilers, but both of us will be committing to a binding emotional contract. We will also be agreeing to argue about where and what to eat forever.

6:45 PM

Mandatory Hydration & Bites

Retreat back to the poolside for immediate liquid reinforcement. Be advised: we will be holding you hostage for mandatory group photographs in the golden hour light before the main dinner begins.

8:00 PM

Designated Dining

Find your seats and prepare to feast! We're serving up a substantial meal, a handful of overly generous toasts, and some stellar entertainment to kick off the night. The food is excellent, the wine is flowing, and the company is elite.

10:30 PM - 03:00 am

The Unregulated Hours

The formalities are officially concluded and decorum is no longer required. The music stops at 03:00 AM, at which point we highly encourage a retreat to your beds so we can do this all over again by the pool on Sunday.

The Culinary Agenda

To ensure no one collapses before the dance floor opens, we have engaged a proper French chef to fuel the evening. Please review the menu below, designed to look elegant, taste incredible, and strategically absorb the champagne.

Welcome Refreshments

Various beverages including a "véritable citronnade" (real lemonade) to sip on while you wait for the event to begin.

Cocktail Hour Bites

The Hot Station:

Featuring crispy hot-dogs, croque-monsieurs (available in plain or truffle), "chic street food" spiced kebabs, reinvented beetroot pain bagnat, grilled focaccia with creamy ricotta and pesto rosso, and charcoal bagels with salmon and chive cream.

The Sea Station:

A sushi bar, homemade salmon gravlax carved to order, and a salmon tartare with ginger and green apple.

The Italian Station:

A selection of Italian charcuterie with breadsticks, Cavaillon melon skewers, heirloom tomatoes, and creamy burrata (plain or truffle) finished with virgin olive oil.

The Grill:

Skewers of prawn and salmon, coconut curry chicken, pesto-grilled cuttlefish, homemade smoked beef mini-burgers, grilled figatelli and chorizo, and Thai-marinated pork.

The Mains

The Amuse-Bouche:

A "perfect egg" served with parmesan cream and a seed crumble.

The Main Course options:

Option 1: Beef fillet (expertly cooked), accompanied by mashed potatoes, asparagus, and confit tomatoes.

OR

Option 2: Sea bass fillet (Dos de loup), served with a candied lemon risotto and crunchy asparagus.

OR

Option 3: The vegan and vegetarian alternatives will be available and shared directly to those requesting them. Please declare your dietary requirements on the RSVP.

The Sweet End

The final course is being kept strictly under wraps until the moment of consumption. Rest assured, sugar is heavily involved…

Arrivals & Navigation

International Arrival

  • Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE): Your best and most convenient option. It’s a 45-minute drive (60 km) down the A8 motorway to the venue. It boasts the most direct flights and car rentals, making it the easiest way to get the travel portion of the weekend over with.

  • Marseille Provence Airport (MRS): A solid plan B. It’s further out (140 km / 1.5 hours), but it’s a great choice if you find better flight times or want to stretch your legs with a scenic Provencal road trip before the main event.

  • By Train (TGV): If you are already in Europe and prefer the rails, book a ticket to Saint-Raphaël Valescure. It’s a major station and drops you just 15 minutes away from the venue and an waiting beach front.

Local Area Guide

We highly recommend choosing a place to stay that suits your desired level of Riviera luxury and your tolerance for car trips.

A Little Warning: Summer traffic on the coast is a well-documented mental-health hazard, particularly along the roads toward St. Tropez. Please factor this into your travel times, as being stuck in traffic is an unacceptable excuse for missing the celebrations.

  • Puget-sur-Argens / Fréjus / Saint Raphaël / Roquebrune (The Tactical Choice):

Closest to the venue and highly relaxed. This is the prime operational base for those who prioritize a convenient, incredibly short taxi ride home after consuming their weight in wine.

  • Cannes / Antibes (The Full Riviera Experience):

Ideal if you are turning this trip into a classic French vacation. Expect excellent nightlife, beautiful beachfront strolls, and a reasonable taxi fare if sharing with others to get to the actual wedding.

Getting to the venue . . .

The venue is tucked away in Puget-sur-Argens, near Fréjus. Getting there will cost you an Uber ride anywhere from €20 if you stay in Fréjus, up to €120 if you choose Antibes.

As you approach the venue, please take a moment to absorb the views and vines before making your grand entrance. For those arriving via taxi, you may be dropped-off directly at the front portico, where the terrace begins.

Should you find yourself behind the wheel of your own vehicle, please follow the hand-painted signs directing you to the parking. The path winds gracefully around the side of the building, leading to a dedicated parking area tucked discreetly at the rear of the property.

*Important Note: getting home after the celebrations is straight forward. Ubers or Bolt's run all night, so please make sure you actually have the app's downloaded.

Here is a quick cheat sheet for navigating the venue:

We’ll kick things off by meeting up at the Poolside for some preliminary hydration.

Once we’re assembled, we will migrate to the Garden for the actual ceremony.

With the formalities out of the way, we’ll move up to the Terrace for dinner, drinks, and the unregulated hours.

Note: In the rare event the French Riviera decides to rain on our parade, we will simply relocate the entire operation under the marquee. We’ve got you covered.

FAQ

Or is it. . . frequently *ignored questions?

When should I RSVP?

Please RSVP by March 2027. If we don’t hear from you by then, we will assume you are staying home, and your champagne will be reallocated to a thirstier guest.

Whom should I call with questions?

Direct all grievances, logistical panics, and minor crises to either of us.

What will the weather be like?

The French Riviera in mid-June ranges from lovely to blistering (23°C to 35°C). We are delaying the main event until the evening for exactly this reason. Dress lightly for the sun, but grab a jacket in case the Mediterranean breeze decides to show up after dark.

Is the post wedding event optional?

Entirely. The main spectacle on Saturday is the only mandatory requirement. If you need to spend Sunday recovering in a dark room instead of attending the poolside brunch, we fully support your life choices. As long as you show up for the wedding, we’ll be thrilled.

Can I bring a plus one?

Your invitation will state if you have a plus-one. If you do, please give us their name on the RSVP form so we know who is drinking our wine.

Are children invited?

Kids are very welcome! Just note that the venue pool is accessible, so they will need full-time supervision. Let us know their dietary needs, or ask us for our planner's babysitter recommendations. We will have a quiet room available for kid meltdowns, and we only ask for your best bribery tactics to keep them silent during the ceremony.

What should I wear?

Elegant summer attire. Think lightweight formalwear to survive the Mediterranean sun. The terrain involves grass, so choose your footwear wisely if you value your ankles. Lastly, please don't wear white or ivory (we shouldn’t have to explain this one).

What time should I arrive?

Please report to the venue between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM. The formalities begin at 6:00 PM sharp, and lateness might be met with slight judgement from the early arrivers.

Will the wedding take place outdoors?

Yes. Drinks are by the pool, the ceremony is in the garden, and dinner is al fresco on the terrace. If the weather completely betrays us, we will retreat beneath a lovely marquee.

Is transportation provided?

No, but Ubers and Bolts are incredibly easy to hail in the area to get you to and from the venue.

Can I take photographs during the ceremony?

Please keep phones in your pockets during the ceremony. We hired a brilliant photographer to document the official moments without dodging a sea of screens. You can take as many photos as you like once the cocktail drinks start flowing.

What if I have dietary requirements?

Note any allergies or dietary restrictions on your RSVP. Our catering team is fully prepared to accommodate your requests.

Is parking available?

Ample parking is available on-site. However, if you plan to drive, please ensure you have a designated driver, as we fully expect the rest of you to be unfit to operate heavy machinery by the end of the night.

Registry

A note on gifts. . .

Bringing a physical gift across international borders is a headache you don't deserve.

Please save your precious luggage space for extra outfits and amazing local produce on the way home. Truly, having you make the trip to France to celebrate with us is the greatest gift we could ever ask for.

However, if you would like to help us kickstart our next chapter, we’ve set up a Honeymoon Fund where you can contribute to our upcoming travels or highly necessary post-wedding recovery!
